Annotation

This work was written for «Alice in Wonderland» musical. The work consists of 12 stanzas. In the musical, the work was split into four parts, 3 stanzas per part. Parts are performed out of order, one part is performed twice — it makes part numbering messy. To reduce confusion, parts of the work are numbered using Roman numerals (I, II, III, …), while parts in the musical are numbered using Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3, …). Order of parts in the musical and corresponding parts of the work:

  1. II («Много неясного в странной стране…»).
  2. I («Этот рассказ мы с загадки начнём…»).
  3. III («Ну и последнее: хочется мне…»).
  4. II («Много неясного в странной стране…»), again.
  5. IV («…Не обрывается сказка концом…»).
