Sacred Ground (club edition)

The barcode associated with this release (0 20831-4404-2 46) is a special purpose barcode for internal use at Columbia House / Columbia House Record Club (CRC), they are not to be confused with standard UPC/EAN barcodes. In its whole form, it is invalid, unusable and unable to be converted to a UPC/EAN. These club editions are labeled by the text "CRC" or "Manufactured by Columbia House under license" somewhere on the package, whether it be the CD, Booklet, or back of the Tray Insert. In some cases an (*) asterisk will also be printed in front of the catalog number. In every release I’ve come across, the barcode starts with 02083, the next six digits are the catalog# of the release (I assume), and the last two digits, could be part of the catalog#, but I really have no clue to its use.

In this release, it is denoted by the "CRC" printed on the back Tray insert near the bottom centered.
