"Beck's fourth Record Club project covered the album Kick by INXS. It was recorded on March 3 2010 ("in a little over 12 hours"), and the first track was put out fairly promptly, on March 25.

The musicians involved with Beck this time were Brian LeBarton, Annie Clark & Daniel Hart (of St. Vincent), Angus Andrew & Aaron Hemphill & Julian Gross (of Liars), and Sergio Dias (of Os Mutantes).

The record choice came from Angus Andrew, who is Australian like INXS. Beck called the day "an intense, hilarious, daunting and completely fun undertaking... {with} many classic moments, inspired performances and occasional anarchy.""
