Self-inflicted creative doubts and projected frustration provides the lyrical framework for ‘Nothing New’, Transistor’s first release since 2018.

The new single from Wellington’s psychedelic trio sees the group taking a deep dive into fuzzed-out guitars paired with a newfound love for synthesisers. Gone are the lucid grooves of 2018’s ‘Soft Burning Silver’ EP; with propulsive rhythms, driving bass lines and electronic drum samples taking hold.
