This is a promotion‐only release for jukebox use. It comes with a jukebox title strip.

Some copies were distributed in die‐cut picture sleeves of the regular Italian issue of “Dancing in the Dark” (CBS A 4436).

Six Italian Springsteen picture sleeves were die‐cut and used for distributing jukebox singles:
- “Born to Run” (CBS 3661)
- “Badlands” (CBS 6532)
- “Hungry Heart” (CBS 9309)
- “Dancing in the Dark” (CBS A 4436)
- “Born in the U.S.A.” (CBS A 4920)
- “I’m On Fire” (CBS A 6148)
“Born to Run”, “Hungry Heart”, “Dancing in the Dark”, and “I’m On Fire” have matching jukebox promo releases. “Badlands” and “Born in the U.S.A.” don’t have matching jukebox promo releases.
