Annotation

The release was recorded in three sessions, Tracks 1 (Soul Surge) and 4 (Cunga Black) in Session 1, February 19, 1965.
Tracks 2, 3, 5 were recorded in Session 2, February 26, 1965.
The last two tracks 6 and 7 from a separate session March 03, 1966. Correctly described in Bob Blumenthal's liner notes from the RVG edition and in Nat Hentoff's original liner notes. Attributions also shown on the back cover of the release.
