2007-07-13: Vestereng, Aarhus, Denmark

* Unfortunately there was a power failure at this show and the PA went down . . . the computers recording the shows were fried and did not get back up and running until the second half of the show. • This was the first time Metallica had ever performed in Aarhus. They have previously only played Copenhagen and the Roskilde Festival.
• Each band on tonight’s bill had Danish blood flowing in their veins. Both Mnemic and Volbeat are from Denmark and, of course, Lars was feeling right at home with his Danish friends and family.
• The last time Whiplash was performed in Denmark was on November 27, 1996 in Copenhagen.
• The first time Enter Sandman had been performed in Denmark was on August 10, 1991. It was the third time the song had ever been played. It’s amazing that the song has since been performed live around 800 times.
