Darkness on the Edge of Town Outtakes: American Songs

~ Release by Bruce Springsteen (see all versions of this release, 1 available)

Annotation

Limited Edition
"Darkness on the Edge of Town Sessions". This has nothing to do with "The Promise" but features unreleased studio outtakes from the Darkness sessions recorded in New York between 1977 - 1978. Three discs of rare sessions and one disc of the CBS promo tape "Bruce Springsteen live at Community Auditorium, Berkeley, California, July 1st 1978". Impossible to find, this is the reconstruction of both shows as completely as possible. Perfect stereo soundboard.

Digitally remastered, pressed on gold discs. Packaged in a chunky jewel case with a 40 page booklet and outter slip case.
