Jungle Brown Artist Ric Flo celebrates the blessings of his transformational journey from young kid in care turned creative artist with his new solo track ‘Best Life’. Produced by the London-based up-and-coming versatile producer Marl, ‘Best Life’ draws on Ric’s urge to explore different progressive sounds and deliver a contemporary yet universal message.

Growing up in foster care in Bournemouth, Ric found in the art of rap, photography and graphic design therapeutic mediums of introspection and self-expression. He shares this journey in his debut album ‘A Boy Called Ric’. Beating statistics and expectations, he is passionate about connecting with the underrepresented community and show how life can be abundant with success regardless of your start in life.

Jungle Brown brings together three artists with different backgrounds and sound inspirations, driven and determined to disrupt and leave a mark on the UK rap scene. With a slew of successes over the past few years under their belt, all achieved with no budget for promo or marketing, they have recently signed to Mr Bongo record label, which is sure to transform their musical career.

Building upon where he started, Ric’s next solo exploration will reflect on the recurrent, complex and predominant theme of identity and belonging which will take form as an upcoming solo album entitled ‘Home’. In the meantime, you can listen to ‘Best Life’ on Spotify, iTunes and Tidal, available from the 30th of November.
