Annotation

This is the soundtrack to Kristian Petris featurelength documentary about Orson Welles.. The film is a road movie, of sorts, where Petri travels through Spain, following in Welles footsteps, in search of clues and answers about Welles relationship to the spanish culture.

The music, partly written, partly improvised, is inspired by the fantastic photography, the somewhat sad fate of Orson Welles, the Spanish landscape and the poetic pace that signifies the movie, and of course, by bullfighting. Sparse melodic minimalism featuring trumpet player Goran Kajfeš, bassist Johan Berthling, (Hapna Rec, Tape etc.), percussionist composer, Johan Söderberg and producer David Österberg.

Limited edition release in April 2005. Re-release in December 2005.

The album was also digitally released on iTunes and Goran’s Bandcamp account. The release date on Bandcamp - released January 6, 2005 - is probably inaccurate. According to ISRC all tracks have been released 2005-04-12.
