Landslide

“Landslide” is a song recorded by American singer-songwriter and record producer Marian Renta released as a single on November 21, 2025. The single’s release was accompanied by the song’s lyric video. It is a cover of the Oh Wonder song written and originally recorded by the English alt-pop duo for their 2015 eponymous debut album. “Landslide” is a pop-soul record with R&B influence and lyrics that focus on being supportive of someone experiencing turmoil. Renta initially did not know the song until it was introduced to her in 2020 by a friend who liked the song and wanted her to cover it. Renta recorded a demo version of the cover and uploaded it to Soundcloud in 2020. Five years later in 2025, the demo version was updated and mastered by Renta for official release. For her rendition, Renta opted to create a more polished, pop-R&B sound for the track, creating contrast to the original's lo-fi, indie sound while retaining most of the original arrangements. A Dolby Atmos version of "Landslide" produced by Renta was also released alongside the standard stereo version.
