Annotation

On some releases this recording is ambiguosly referenced on the CD cover as "Sonata in A Wq.146 (H.570/H.542) for traverso, violin, cello & harpsichord". The referenced work Wq.146 (H.570) is a Trio Sonata in A major for flute, violin and b.c. The second referenced work H.542 (not present in the Wotquenne catalogue) is an arrangement of H.570 for violin and keyboard (harpsichord). The performance may be a mix of both, taking into account recording instruments (traverso flute, violin, cello and harpsichord).
