The War Symphonies: Symphonies 4–9

~ Release by Shostakovich; Gergiev (see all versions of this release, 1 available)

Annotation

Packaging is 6CD fatbox with brilliant box inside, with 2 blackish foam rubber sheets.

Sic: CD3 Disc ID qIuMHE1RV2VDptidQjwJdTgrNm8- (from own copy of physical release) deviates greatly ~1:30 with a timestamp error between tracks 3.6—7 affecting the duration of those tracks but not the disc total: For Symphony no. 9 III. Presto – IV. Largo, track 6 for III. continues erroneously with the opening 11 measures of IV. (the full (67) of score, ff unisono on Bb), so track 7 starts with the 2nd of the 2 unisono ff statements on A at IV. measure 12, (68) in score.
= Track 3.6 is ~1:30 too long, because split point between movements III. & IV. is set way into IV. thereby making track 3.7 ~1:30 too short.
Overall (not counting sectors or 1/75 seconds), vuCieR5eceCx5WSIrwAm28jq0OA- is the correct one and can be used for manual fix. (For a custom fix of a based-on-qIuMHE1RV2VDptidQjwJdTgrNm8- .cue a track 7 “INDEX 01 48:00:00” is OK.)
