@Ivan: It was shared by a guy called Brian Weisser on Simon Elsey’s Rare S/steen FB group. Here’s some quotes from him:
Recently I came into contact with someone who found these cassettes at a place near them in Norway. The labels are all out of wack and list the wrong show entirely, however, the setlist matches Passaic Night 3. Going off the label its a 2nd gen copy, with plenty of dropouts and cuts (Rosie is missing, Tenth Ave fades out like the bootlegs). No other info was provided with the tape, making it a mystery as to its origins. Seeing as we already have an official release and the JEMS version of the SBD, its essentially a novelty if anything. But I still find it interesting nonetheless.
wow got a response quicker than I thought.
The deck used was a Sony CMT‐EP313, recording through the headphone jack directly into PC. Audacity was used to record the tapes one side at a time at 24bit/44.1khz. Exported out to FLAC as‐is.
He says it was not azimuth adjusted because he isn’t sure where the adjustment screw is. But that in general he doesn’t mess with the decks he uses to transfer all that much. And testing tape 1 on another deck sounded much the same as the transfer deck.
